The West Great Lakes Intergroup will start using Zoom for its business meetings. Using this technology will allow us to not only hear one another but also see each other and share documents if we need to. The first Zoom meeting will be on September 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM. The ACA WSO has been using Zoom technology for quite some time now with good results and we figured it was worth trying here!
For those of you who would rather dial in to the meeting as we always have you can see the new phone numbers and meeting ID number on the right sidebar of the website where it has always been. For those who would like to try the new capabilities we have provided instructions in an attached file. Don’t be afraid of the 12 page document we have provided with instructions! You will only need to skim over the 1 page that describes your situation, Android, Windows, Mac, Chromebook, phone. And take a quick look at page 2 for overall notes.
To give people the opportunity to get comfortable with the technology I will making the “room” available starting at 12:30, so we have half an hour to get connected and answer any questions you may have.
Remember, you can always call in on a regular phone, like you always have. If you want to have additional fun think about joining us with your smart phone or computer. Most laptops these days have a build in microphone, speakers and camera so you already have all you need. Otherwise you will need at least a microphone, speakers or headset. Add a camera so we can see your handsome face!
